At Castleview Medical Centre, we aim to provide professional, friendly, efficient and personal care to all our patients. We aim to get to know you, your family, your context to help us serve your medical needs as a whole. We have a fully equipped surgery here in our new premises at Kealgorm House, Limerick Road, Castleisland that can facilitate all your medical needs.
Meet the Team
Dr. Colm Ó Giollagáin
Colm, a native of Dublin (who enjoys the GAA banter, especially over the last few years), loves all sports and coaches soccer and hurling in Tralee.
Dr. Niamh O'Donnell
Niamh, a Kerry woman, who met Colm in college in UCD. They are parents to 4 young boys, and they live in Tralee.
Dr. Mark Hanna
Dr Mark has completed his GP training with two years of work in a practice in Killarney. His professional interests are Men's Health & Preventative Medicine .Mark was born & raised in Canada & moved to Ireland in 2020. Outside of work he enjoys travelling the world and spending quality time with his wife, going for walks & the gym every chance he gets.
Nurse Angela Dowling
Angela, a native of ardfert has been practice nursing for 25 years, having worked in Tralee for many years and in the women’s health clinic prior to that. She is proficient in all aspects of practice nursing, from antenatal care, to wounds, to venesections and to education.
Nurse Helen Egan
Helen started her journey here in Castleview Medical Centre in 2020. Helen's main role was to look after our chronic disease patients, but she has shown enthusiasm in pivoting to also help out with vaccinations, dressings, antenatal care and smear taking too. We’re delighted to have her.
Sheila Crowley
Sheila is from outside Killarney. Sheila has been working with Castleview Medical Centre over 10 years now. Working every morning & full days on Wednesday & Friday she dovetails well with Carmel and looks after the more administration tasks for us here in the surgery.
Carmel Leader
Carmel is a local from Castleisland. Having worked with Justin for many years, Carmel is a dab hand with the computer and enjoys going for walks.
